About

Since picking up a guitar at age 12, Sean McQuaid was a natural performer. A Philadelphia native, he immersed himself in the local punk scene, played in various folk ensembles, and produced bedroom recordings throughout his teens and 20s. His songs strike a balance between catchy and complex and have been known to wriggle their way into your brain after just one listen. Blending stories of both the harrowing and the mundane, Sean creates a rich and thought-provoking lyrical style. His latest project skeletoncloset borrows from diverse influences like folk, grunge, lowfi and shoegaze.

Sean's latest EP Return to Form marks a return to his roots as a singer/songwriter. With haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics, the EP invites listeners into an intimate space.

He is currently working on a full-length self-produced album.
